Maryland DDA Programs
Community Pathways Waiver (CPW)
For adults (21+), transition-age youth (18–20), and children (17 and under) with intellectual and developmental disabilities who need ongoing supports to live safely and independently in the community.
Program Highlights
- Administered by the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA)
- Funded through Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS)
- Designed to support long-term community living

Maryland Autism Waiver Services
Late Fall 2026MSDE / Medicaid HCBS Autism Waiver
For children and youth aged 17 and under diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder who need specialized supports to remain at home and in their communities.
Program Highlights
- Administered by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE)
- Funded through Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS)
- Family-centered and child-focused
- Services coordinated across home, school, and community settings
