Our Story
Built to Support Individuals and Families Across Every Stage of Life
HAVE Support was founded to meet a growing need in Maryland for reliable, person-centered disability service providers who understand both the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) and the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Autism Waiver systems.
As a Maryland-based provider, HAVE Support delivers services to:
- Children (17 and under) receiving Autism Waiver and DDA services
- Transition-age youth (18–20) preparing for adulthood
- Adults (21 and older) receiving DDA waiver services
We recognized that families often struggle to navigate eligibility, waivers, service models, and provider requirements across different life stages. HAVE Support was created to simplify that process while delivering consistent, ethical, and individualized support from childhood through adulthood.
Our mission is rooted in choice, continuity, and access—ensuring individuals and families can receive quality services without disruption as needs and systems change.
Our Approach
Person-Centered, Age-Appropriate, and System-Aligned
HAVE Support delivers services aligned with Maryland DDA and MSDE Autism Waiver standards, while remaining flexible enough to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Person-Centered Planning
Services are designed around the individual's goals, strengths, developmental stage, and support needs. Planning evolves as individuals grow—whether supporting a child in skill development, a young adult in transition planning, or an adult in community living.
Self-Determination & Choice
We support provider-led (traditional) and self-directed service models, ensuring individuals and families maintain choice, control, and flexibility within DDA and Autism Waiver guidelines.
Collaborative Care Across Systems
HAVE Support works in partnership with families, caregivers, Coordinators of Community Services (CCS), Support Brokers, school systems, clinical providers, and community partners to ensure services remain coordinated, compliant, and responsive.
